Not ideal, but I would play 18/13*(2) 20/15(2). You need to hit, because otherwise too many rolls bring the checker home. After the hit, you'd want to cover the mid. The 8 is not useful, too far away from any prime, but you also want to reduce the number of blots, to reduce the number of double hit and hop home scenarios. So 18/13*(2) for starters. The 20/15(2) to have more points covered, and make the journey home more difficult. I think you have time to move from the ace-point later
