In Response To: Opening replies: The loose hit on the 3 (Maik Stiebler)

Here's an interesting example of the "bad sixes" concept. The correct play is to hit and slot the bar with great point making potential whenever the slots are missed. With no checkers on the ace point, opener is forced to make a weak response with 36 & 46 along with the terrible 26 & 66 responses. Note that hitting fives are duplicated. Making the bar point is a significant error.
