I once was losing a 9 point match against Snowie 0-8 Crawford. I won the match in two games with two consecutive backgammons. Backgammons happen less frequently than the situation you described and even less against a player of Snowie's caliber and yet I did it two games in a row in exactly the two games I needed them.
Do you know what the computer said about my incredible string of luck after this happened? Nothing. I suggest you follow its example. There are dice in this game and wild swings occur - in both directions. This happens to everyone and so nobody cares that it happened to you. The best players are the ones that tune out these swings and don't try to justify their poor results by whining about the dice and instead focus on studying their mistakes and learning to make the best possible plays. That in turn seems to produce more luck for you and less for everyone else. Funny how that happens.
