Leaves a more flexible position than making the 4 point. If we don't make the 5 point now, it will be difficult to do it later. 2 shots, with 11 return shots for us, seems a tolerable risk.

White's blot looks important to me. His board may begin to crunch soon, but quite often it will first become stronger with 5 points and no blot. We want to pay now or relatively much later, but not pay soon.
