New Images for the Forums

In Response To: New Images for the Forums (Leonardo Jerkovic)

XG still export using it's own theme (either "pine/walnut checker - green board" or "black and white") with picture linking to XG web site. Nothing has changed there.

To Jason Lee: making an export using BGonline.org images has pro and cons

Pro:

  • if ever XG web site is not available the board will not show.

    Cons:

  • the export is only valid on Bgonline.org web site.
  • there currently no option in BGonline.org to choose board orientation.
  • if i decide to change the export function I can change the images accordingly (for instance if i decide to include arrows to display a move)

    At this time, there is no short term plan to make a specific export for BGonline.org. I expect XG web site to be up and running for a long time :-) so it should not be an issue.
