Opening moves at DMP

In Response To: Opening moves at DMP (Gregg Cattanach)

How could something like 31P-63S be better for the player winning the opening roll than 31P-21S for eg?

And something that is worse for the player winning the opening roll rather than 62S-66B would be 63S-66B or even 64S-66B.

Again, I don't like to think about these problems but will merrily shoot down other ppl's answers while not giving my own.
