32D - 51S - 41?

Is there a match score involved? Just wondering, but why did someone open with 32D instead of 32S? Why did someone respond with 51S instead of 51$? If no correct plays have been made so far this game, why the sudden concern with playing accurately on the third roll?
Aside from the above considerations, the position is interesting. I am posting the position and XG eval below. I would be interested in seeing a rollout, but it would probably need to be long to be meaningful.
