Your play piles 4 checkers on the 4 pt so it looks quite ugly also and due to the new blot XG will likely cube your play as well.

My choice is 8/3(2) 9/4 6/1 here as the least of evils and not granting XG complete outfield control which make it too easy to contain our straggler.
