In Response To: Monte Carlo Last 8 (Bill Riles)

I would like to see it rotated. More importantly, I would like to see stronger fields. Why do we call this the world championship at all? It isn't. It is just a tournament. Any practical means of awarding a backgammon world championship will be fallible when it comes to selecting the world's best player. But I can't believe we couldn't do better than this.
