In Response To: Monte Carlo Last 8 (Christian Munk-Christensen)

The rotation idea and the comments on strength of the field are unrelated. I would be interested in rotation just to give more people a chance at playing. I would like to see as many of the top players competing for the title as possible because that is what a world championship means to me. In Chess, it is unlikely that a single, active top player would pass on a chance to compete for the title. I would agree with all of the comments you made. And, I don't have any ideas to make it better. I am a big fan of Howard Markowitz and I am sure he is doing everything he can to make this a great event within the constraints he has.
