Relative strength ABT Vs MC

In Response To: Monte Carlo Last 8 (Bill Riles)

This is an interesting question. No doubt the typical ABT field is very strong. But the field here is pretty good too. I am recording all my matches and the (Gnu 2/2 snowie equivalent) error rates for my opponents' so far are 2.6 (17 point match, 16 games), 5.2 (9 point match, 7 games)and 4.2 (9 point match, 7 games). Not a lot of data but some evidence that the field here is not entirely made up of super-rich uber-pigeons.
