I guess I will still usually split at "normal" scores.
61P-54
Never let it be said that you're unwilling to sacrifice equity; after all, it was R that topped your rollout.
Note that you get the benefit of varying your play: because you run with 63 and split with 54, your opponents won't know which way is up. :)
Here is data for 61P-54:
Money
Snowie .. [S R3] 5k (ext in progress)
GnuBG .. [R=S] 46k
XG 3-ply [S R4] 15k
XG 4-ply [R=S] 46kOther scores:
GnuBG .. d[S R1] 10k
XG 3-ply d[R S1] 20k
GnuBG .. s[S R19 D33] 15k 5kD
GnuBG .. g[S D10] 5kKey: S is Split (24/20 13/8), R is Run (24/15), D is Down (13/9 13/8). Error sizes are in thousandths. An "=" between two plays means they they are in a dead heat: both within .000 of best.
Before the brackets, d is dmp, s is (gammon) save, g is (gammon) go; else assume money. Number of trials (k) is in thousands, rounded down. For example, "s[S R19 D33] 15k 5kD" means that at (gammon) save, S is best and R is -.019 after 15000+ trials, and D is -.033 after 5000+ trials.
Note that S rolled out best at both gammon save and gammon go. If anyone would like me to post those rollouts, just let me know. FWIW, though, Snowie's 5k spinoff (checkerplay-not-AtS) results more or less agree: d[R=S D40], s[S R10 D37], and g[S D11 R17].
If anyone is willing to do XG rollouts for those scores (all the better if R is included in the one at gammon go), that would be great.
