Backgammons at GS

I started to investigate 53P-41 at GS last year and didn't get to the end of the project due to the busy season on my job. I did find one very interesting fact. One of the reasons that 41$ plays relatively well at GS is that backgammons are no worse than gammons. The slotting play loses far more backgammons than the splitting play. This hurts for money, but not at GS. This is a minority reason for the relative success of slotting at GS, but it big enough to be seen.
