The number one obsticle to backgammon growth is the expectation that everything should be free. This is especially ironic since players who pay to improve their performance will recoup their investment in future chouettes or tournaments. The talent to produce high quality backgammon products such as Nack and Paul's book exists. The problem is low demand for product. It is incredible that ANYONE who is interested in Backgammon would not pay $5 to watch the World Championship finals because they think it should be free.
I want to clearly state - give me product to buy and I will pay. I hope others will join me.
