Tough one. In a way, you're damned if you hit, and damned if you don't. If you hit, Black will mostly dance and you'll need a 6 pretty quickly to avoid a nasty redouble. If you hit, Black's 6s mostly win and 8 of his other 25 numbers hold his 5-point board intact.

I think you have to pass on hitting loose here, but how best to do it? I think 6/2 5/4 is the play. That gives you a direct shot against Black's 62 and 61 and gives you good 1s and 3s (numbers which are no good on the other side of the board) if Black doesn't get a 6.
