And 50 players make more work and need more equipment, more space and more man power to direct than 20, which means more expenses and at a lower revenue. Wrong thinking again.

Why not raise registration fees even more, to €750? Then tournaments will have only 4 players - needing less equipment, less space and have lower expenses?

So you're saying tournament directors don't want more players on backgammon tournaments?!
You are glad with current situation in backgammon world where less and less players go to tournaments? And lower tournament attendances is all payers fault?
