5pt or bar?

What a great position! And like almost everybody here I would have made the 5 point without giving it too much thought.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if a longer 4-ply rollout keeps making the bar point as the top choice. If so, my theory as to why would be that your opponent is likely to have a strong 5 prime next roll, and if you make the 5-pt instead of your bar point, you may have some uncomfortable sixes to play real soon.
