Despite my recollection of Ultra-Shaker last year, I have no problem with giving the Lobster, Norm, or others a little more flexibility with the time settings.

That being said, however, I think the practice can put an undue burden on tournament directors in deciding who gets the extra time and who doesn't. Player A is deemed 'challenged' enough and Player B is not 'challenged' enough and, in his mind, has been deemed to be trying to game the system. Can you say 'discrimination'?

Seems a can of worms to me.
