21$-54S-44 And Its Large Happy Family

I agree: even though 21$-54S-44 is identical to 54S-21H-32H-44, we should list it as the latter for purposes of internally comparing this family of positions. (If they were third roll positions, the first roll would be standard for only two of them -- 21$ and 51$; the others would have to be 32%, 62$ and 63O.)
54S-21H-32H-44
I've re-listed your five positions below. The first is composed of an 11pt blot and an 8pt spare (as diagrammed above); In the other positions, these checkers are replaced by whatever blots/spares appear on the right-hand end of the row.
(1) 54S-21H-32H-44: 11pt + 8pt
(2) 54S-32H-32H-44: 11pt + 6pt
(3) 54S-51H-32H-44: 8pt + 8pt
(4) 54S-62H-32H-44: 8pt + 6pt
(5) 54S-63H-32H-44: 7pt + 6ptFor (2), I stated that I like Bar/21 24/20(2) 13/9, though it appears that the hit-and-split play of 24/21 24/20 13/5* is closer than I thought it would be, as shown in Neil's 9k RO.
For (1), the position diagrammed, I would have chosen the same play I like for (2), but having seen Neil's RO, I'm less sure. Moving the 6pt spare back to the 8pt might make hit-and-split a touch more attractive.
For (4), Blue has no 11pt blot/builder, so the anchor + 13/9 play I already like for (2), duplicating 4s, should be a slam-dunk here.
For (3), again I choose anchor + 13/9. However, because of the four-checker 8pt, Bar/21 13/9 8/4(2)) and Bar/21 24/20 8/4(2) are new contenders worth consideration.
For (5), the awkwardness of the 7pt blot causes me to settle for Bar/21 24/20(2) 7/3. This is the only one of the five positions in which for money I'm at all tempted to play the overly popular anti-positional double-hit.
There is a sixth position that could correctly arise at GG: 54S-61H-32H-44. It's the same as (5), but with the fifth 6pt checker back on the 8pt (or move the 11pt blot to the 7pt in my diagram above). For this sixth position, and for (5), at GG I like hitting twice. The double-hit might be right at GG for the other positions as well (except for (3) where it's surely better to make the 4pt and come down).
Below are related groups of positions (one group per line). Whether they are part of the same family (as 54S-xxH-32H-44) or each is its own family depends upon definition, I suppose.
