I agree.

And one might add that the 3 point is pretty deep so it is good for attacking and not so good for priming.

After the 41 you're trailing in the race so a priming approach is likely good. Slotting will start a prime when it goes well. When you're hit the 3rd back checker will make it easier to build an advanced anchor which will cut down on the gammon losses.
