In Response To: Bill Calton is an Outstanding Writer (Paul Weaver)

"Many people post sentences that have grammatical errors and/or are poorly written."

Could you explain the use of "that" instead of "which" in the above sentence please? Also while you are at it would you mind giving an explanation of the meaning of "refute" I've seen professional writers misuse it twice in just the last week.
