There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.

I have not yet perused Bill Calton's blog so I have no idea how well he writes, but I believe everything in his post here on bgo after the first line was pasted from Dylan Loeb McClain's chess blog at The New York Times. By the way, to my ear the phrase "one reason why" is perfectly idiomatic English; I'm surprised a fine writer like Paul found fault with it.
