XG training and NN question

The last NN training for the current version was made in 2008. I took about 2 month of calculations using my home computers and the servers at my work (Big thank to my boss, Susan Caghan at PrimePro Data to have allowed me to use the many development servers during off-time work hours).

It's funny you ask that question now as I started the new NN training yesterday (details of which are highly classified). Because XG is much faster than in 2008 and that I've more computer resources available, I expect to have enough data in a month or so to start the actual training.

This last part is kind of a black art where you have to estimate/guess what new input to the NN are needed to make it better. I did that on the race NN already and it is now 1.5 more accurate (even thought it has only a very small effect on the overall strength it help in rollout VR)

This is a lot of fun for me (yeah, i know i am weird).

Can the NN be better? sure! my preliminary test last week yielded a 1.51 Elo improvement. The goal for V2 it to gain at least 10 Elo but the sky is the limit!
