Don't you hate it when you're outboarded?

Isn't 8/6 2/1 best if you play without Jacoby (say 0-0 in a long match), or is it not at least very close? I think 6/3* is the play for money, but only because White needs to cube to activate gammons (or not score a gammon on its hits).
