You are correct I believe in regards to 'which play loses more gammons', that I agree would be slotting 6/5. What you have to ask yourself after that though is which play wins more games? I think this is clearly 6/5 and would play it at dmp in a flash. Which play also wins more gammons? I would figure the play that goes after the two best offensive points also wins more gammons.

It's hard to put the position together after the safe play since you're so stripped. I think the two factors in favor of slotting, more wins and more gammon wins, outweigh the one factor of gammon losses.
