43K (double hit) makes a mess out of your position losing the 8 pt and leaving a stack of 5 checkers on the 6 pt with three blots. This play is likely only correct when things start to be like gammon-go. Usually it will be better to play 24/20 8/5x and fight for both 5 pts.

I had 65S here somewhere over the past month (I think was Novi) and played S correctly(according to this RO result) I didn't know the RO result, but my reasoning was that I was duping aces, my spare on the 8 pt good for attack if my opp can do anything with his blots and I am not ahead in the race as after an opening 65R. Additionally, S is more complicated.
