In Response To: 43U-61X at DMP is shocking (David Rockwell)

Are there any other examples where X is best with 61 other than after 43S (Split 24-20, 13-10) when the opener has a blot on the 10 point?

Hmm... what other opening play puts a blot on the 10pt and also lets the opponent hit with an ace? The only other is 63S: this gets hit with the ace, but of course the 6 covers rather than splits so there's no real H vs X issue.

If your question is intended to be more expansive than my interpretation, let me know.

Nack
