There is a paradox at this score. Usually, the side behind in the match takes later than the side ahead in the match. However, When TwoAway doubles FiveAway in a mutually non-gammonish position, FiveAway passes earlier than TwoAway would pass if doubled by FiveAway in a non-gammonish position.
In the position at hand, White leads by 30 pips while Black has "Koon's Corner," named after a Boston player Charlie Koon in the 1970s. Koon's corner is the 1pt and 2pt, when the player has only a three-point board.
Black's Koon's Corner board will be ineffective in containing White in the event Black gets a shot and hits it.
I think this is a pass. Is it too good? White has some numbers that hit and cover: 22 44 26 25 23 46. However, I am guessing that White would need a bigger racing lead to be too good.
My guess is double/pass.
