Are precision dice necessary??

In my opinion the answer is no.....regular square dice that come with basic backgammon boards and regular board games will pass a randomness test. Some-ones brother-in-law was in the precision dice making business when they became a defacto standard for us.

It is just like the golf ball marketing to the average golfer. Why play with Pro V 1's for $4-5 each, when the $1 pinnicle(sp) is good enough.
