Prime Vs. Prime checker play.

When I saw this position first, I wanted to play 10/3 and completely overlooked 8/3 7/5 for some reason. Not sure which of the two is better. But you want to slot, because:
If missed, you gain because you have more chances to make a 6-prime. This is huge. If hit, you are not happy, but compared to the same position after the safe play (10/5 8/6) you have better timing, which compensates to some degree for the extra checker back.
Actually, to some degree may not be correct: depending on how you slot (10/3 or 8/3 7/5) and how opponent hits, you may be better off being hit after the slot and having the extra timing than not being hit.
