These two are not equivalent.

whether the uncertainty comes from random chance, or lack of knowledge

Is there a tangible difference? I.e. online dice generators generate the dice in advance. They could be called "random" (or "pseudo-random") but only because no one knows what the dice rolls will be. If you know what the dice generator is going to come up with is it still random?
