Okay, i changed my code to actually create a random player (don't ask me why the random NN did not achieve the same result, i don't have a clue and i don't have time to investigate)

I check 5 of the game random won and they all make sense this time (in 2 random get hit early and closed out and just anchor in the 1 point and get VERY good racing dice, in the 3 others the game goes to race early and random outrace 1-ply)

  • DMP: after 100,000 game - random:185, 1-ply: 99815, random winning 0.185%
  • Cubeless money: after 100,000 games - random:91, 1-ply: 268826, ppg: 2.687

    My guess on why in money random win half less is that the 1-ply try to recirculate his checkers to grab more (back)gammons, while in DMP it avoids that.
