First sentence in the first paragraph of your rules: "All disputes settled so as to attain an equitable outcome". If your chouette is non-consulting on checker play, specifically say someplace "No indirect attempts at influencing checker play".

But no matter how O-C you get about the written rules, you always get taken back to "Do we want to continue to play with ?" Sometimes, it's even better if you proceed at medium speed to that question.
