This year the Chicago players are making it easier to get to Peoria...fly in to Chicago and we'll try to match find you a ride from Chicago and back, and if we can't find a ride for you, we'll at least match you up with people arriving around the same time so you can share a rental car.

I don't know why Madison doesn't do the same thing. I'm picking up Perry and Norma at the Chicago airport and driving them up and back, and there are many others coming from Chicago who are driving, so you should be able to fly into O'Hare and get a ride from someone.

I make no guarantees, but let me know what time you're arriving in Chicago and I'll do my best to find you (and anyone else) rides or try to coordinate something.

It amazes me with this modern era of web sites that tournaments can't easily have a place where players can log in their flight arrival and departure times and cities and have all this posted.

We did the same thing last year for the Santa Fe tournament and it encouraged a lot of people to come in around the same time, share rental cars and rides, and I know it resulted in a higher attendance.

Every city that is not a major city where there is a drive from the airport should provide this service (IMHNWO).
