I go to tournaments because I love the game and I love the competition. So I want the most play and the most chance to succeed. I am not an equity chaser looking for a either a huge payout, or a quick death so I can go looking for fish to play on the side.

I'm with Rich on this one... I've never been a big fan of true single elimination events (like Vegas) which are so unforgiving. There's nothing *wrong* with them, it's just not a format I'm enthralled with.

I'd like to see more double elim and more swiss... more creative ways that I can be engaged in the main tournament. All you WC players should want this -- the more time you have to keep me at the board, the less chance I have to just luck out, and the cream will rise to the top.
