It wouldn't be a make or break deal for me, but I prefer there to be a Last Chance. I also prefer that it be progressive and the drawsheet be posted ASAP so that the unfortunates who lose early in the Main and Conso can play their matches as soon as they can be scheduled to do so.

That arrangement helps ensure that a dragging Last Chance doesn't cause someone to have to forfeit out in order to catch a plane, or create a ripple effect where someone alive in the LC delays a side event to the point someone else forfeits out of that, for the same reason.* In an ideal world, planes from the tournament's city would leave every hour for every city, no reservations required, but it's not and they don't, and most of us given a choice of having to stay an additional unscheduled night at the hotel vs. our equity in the LC or a side event, are going home.

*It is a separate question whether someone alive in the LC should be allowed to play side events in the first place, but when those events are the Blitz or Quickie, which often begin quite early in the weekend, I don't see how we could say the players in question did anything wrong to enter those events.
