In Response To: A few consecutive cube decisions from tonite's match vs Phil (neilkaz)

1) ND. With the even board strength and pipcount, White's 2 checkers back, and Black's anchor, looks like Black has a easy take. And even if White rolls well and Black rolls poorly (e.g. POH, flunk), it is unclear that White has lost his market.

2). TG. Definite gammon chances, with Black on the bar vs a 4-pt board and 2 checkers on White's ace point, and 3 White checkers bearing on his open 4 point. Take a roll. Then re-evaluate.

3) D. White has better board, is ahead in the race, and threatens Black's blot on his 10 point. But White is on the bar vs a 3 point board. I think Black can take b/c White is on the bar. But, White should cube since if he enters and hits and Black fans, White loses his market.
