The way I looked at it, 13/11 would stabilize the structure up front, and then 24/21 to start escaping the back checker. If we are hit, our entering numbers are still OK, we can use the non-entering part to play 11/X. But 24/21 also has the drawback of attracting fire.
At first sight, I did not like 5/3 6/3 because it created a flat structure without spares, but the spares can be brought in later. Also, you are right that the 3-point is the best destination for the spares on the 6 and 5. And making the 3 point prepares for the escape by making hitting exchanges better for us.
Still unsure.
