In Response To: Question for Phil (Paul Weaver)

At the Chicago tournament, while running the Calcutta, I explained in detail, what I thought was wrong with the rules of tournament backgammon, and I gave some examples to the crowd and received overwhelming support for my suggestions. I won't bother going through the entire list, but I will tell you that my suggestion that anyone who yells "6-2 from the bar!" and then rolls it should be disqualified from the tournament.

Another rule suggestion was that if anyone complains about their dice and then goes on to win a gammon, the gammon does not count double. Again, this was met with great applause.
