7/6 3/1 2/1. I want to keep the checker on the midpoint back to be max chances to hit an escaping checker, and I want to keep the 4 prime. So I start, by force, with 3/1 2/1. Then 7/6 as more productive for the race than 3/2. Loss of the spare on the 7 is only significant in some unlikely variations, whereas 7/6 instead of 3/2 gains in all racing variations.
