In Response To: Late opening 61 to play (Timothy Chow)

I got a bit confused about the play 55: bar/10 13/8 which you nactated 55r. Maybe 55p would be more clear ? And maybe not :) P is for making a point, covering a blot or pointing on a blot. So here the potential members of the P family would be covering the blot on the 10pt and making the 3pt somehow. bar/10 covers the blot on a point further away from the 6pt than the 3pt, hence it gets the lower case p, and then the rest of 55p is 13/8 by the 6pt convention. Thoughts ?
