3a-7a rule does not apply here, as Blonde almost never gets gammoned. Black has to be a big optimist to take this cube. Not only he has no anchor, but he has no homeboard at the moment that will guarantee a win if he hits a fly shot. Meanwhile Blonde has plenty of pointing numbers and a solid racing lead. I would drop in a heart beat if were doubled. Blonde has no bad rolls and can actually wait a roll. But i would cube now if i were you--sometimes they take. D/P.
