We seem to keep relitigating the same exception to this rule of thumb: it is often correct to consider cubing at -3 when the leader faces very little gammon risk.
Here, this looks like a very easy D/P to me and I'm curious how many sequences give Black a take. Not many, I think, and since White's gammon chances are far from insignificant I take a roll.
