Madison results (Saturday) UPDATE

RDR, David Rubin, and Jim Slomkoski have all advanced to the 4-1 group, while the fairer Rockwell, Keene, and Sean have all dropped back to 3-2. JOH, Rich, and I, among a host of others, are also in the group at 3-2 waiting to make our move. The inimitable Neil K. and the dangerous MCG are among the players hanging on at 2-3.

The first day of play only knocked out 5 players, so 26 remain. The ones with two losses or fewer can still win the event. I guess it's possible or maybe likely that somebody with three losses will cash too. I really can't foresee how the draw is going to shake out; some people are saying that that the main event will be over after ten rounds, with playoffs for the lucky left standing.
