I would play 6/2(2) 4/off(2). We can't avoid dropping down to a 4-point board, so it seems clear that the choice is between 6/2(2) 4/off(2) and 5/1(2) 4/off(2). Either way there's just one root number (41 in the former case and 51 in the latter case) and 6/2(2) 4/off(2) does a better job of preserving our slim racing chances (plus if White rolls the root number we get a double shot). The downside of 6/2(2) is that it leaves a blot but our chances are slim anyway if White enters with a non-root number.
