Misja, I would play to the 8 point and to the 7 point in both positions.

Bailey, the reason the analysis might have been strange is that in both positions the choice seems to be

• (1) play to the 8 and play 10/7
• (2) play to the 8 and play 8/5
• (3) play to the 8 and play 6/3

Since the three plays lead to identical positions from both starting positions, the bot's analysis would be strange if one of these plays was best, but not chosen in both original positions.

However, with a checker on the 13 point there is a fourth reasonable play:

• (1) play 10/5 and play 6/3

So perhaps XG chose this play and Misja's teasing us with a misdirecting header ;-
