I'll grant that kooky checker play may lead XG to find spurious 0.010 equity differences, but I'm much more puzzled by Neil's observation that the absolute equities are so far off. For complicated positions I've seen large absolute equity differences between XG and GNU but not been too surprised. Here, though, it seems hard to believe that one of the bots is playing one side a lot more poorly than the other. I'm mystified.
