NON-ruling in Madison

I played legal moves with Rich the last time we met (1,000 Islands consolation semifinal). I imagine we will play this way in future meetings.

I played legal moves this weekend with Keene, Chuck (of course) and the distaff Rockwell. Bill Davis and RDR refused my offer to play legal moves--David further explained that he doesn't like to play under rules different from those adopted as the official rules of the event. This position is valid, of course.

I didn't even make the offer with the rest of my opponents, since I guessed that they wouldn't want to play legal moves.
