In Response To: Legal Moves Club (Daniel Murphy)

A strong argument can be made that agreeing to play legal moves is NOT a departure from the current rules in that the current rules give you the option of making your opponent play each move legally, and all the players are doing is making a gentleman's agreement that they will always do this. So this is NOT one of those situations where the player's have agreed to amend the rules to their own liking.
