I guess I'd try 17/11. That gives you 15 covers for the 4-point, leaves just 2 blots, and keeps your outfield points intact. If White hits, you'll be a fav to re-enter and your odd collection of outfield points will make it difficult for White to get his straggler home safely. The plays that bring a builder into direct range of the 4-point leave too many blots for not that many extra covering numbers. You own the cube so I don't know if it's a good idea to risk so much equity when White hits and you fan. It's not like you'll have a claim if White fans - you won't even have a redouble. I think you should play the constructive yet reasonably safe 17/11 with the hope of gradually improving your position and eventually offering an efficient recube.
